Livelihood, Food Security, and Resilience
Food production and market systems decrease during conflicts, disasters, and relocation. Individuals lose their capacity to support themselves. JARDO enhances access to food and other basic requirements by integrating social protection efforts with short-term cash-based emergency relief using standalone and integrated programs. JARDO supports a variety of resilience-building tools. We support encouraging livelihood assistance packages to displaced people ready and able to return. We also support the formation of cooperative savings and lending associations, including them with additional humanitarian aid and other initiatives aimed at fostering resilience. JARDO participates in marketing initiatives and campaigns to increase public awareness of legal rights and access to necessary services.
